New TABOR on Colorado

Colorado tried TABOR 14 years ago and found it had disastrous results. Fed up with the failed program, the residents of Colorado voted in 2005 to suspend TABOR for five years.

In 2005, Colorado residents took a stand out of “pragmatism and principle,” according to the Denver Post, in voting to suspend TABOR.
